Mt Everest

Mount Everest 8848mtrs, known in Nepali as Sagarmāthā and in Tibetan as Chomolungma, is Earth‘s highest mountain above sea level, located in the Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas. The international border between China (Tibet Autonomous Region) and Nepal  runs across its summit point.



K2 – Pakisatan is known as the Savage Mountain due to the extreme difficulty of ascent. It has the second-highest mountain in the world at 8,611mtrs.fatality rate among the eight thousanders. With around 310 successful summits and 79 fatalities, is about one person dies on the mountain for every four who reach the summit. It is more difficult and hazardous to reach the peak of K2 than any other. 

Mount McKinley

Denali  (also known as Mount McKinley, its former official name) is the tallest land-based mountain on Earth—with a vertical rise of about 18,000 feet (5,500 m), as well as the highest mountain peak in North America—with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet (6,190 m) above sea level. With a topographic prominence of 20,156 feet (6,144 m) and a topographic isolation of 4,629 miles (7,450 km), Denali is the third most prominent and third most isolated peak, after Mount Everest and Aconcagua.



Aconcagua is the highest mountain outside Asia, at 6,960.8 metres (22,837 ft), and the highest point in the Southern Hemisphere.[1] It is located in the Andes mountain range, in the Mendoza ProvinceArgentina, and lies 112 kilometres (70 mi) northwest of its capital, the city of Mendoza, about five kilometres from San Juan Province and 15 kilometres from the international border with Chile. The mountain itself lies entirely within Argentina, immediately east of Argentina’s border with Chile. Its nearest higher neighbor is Tirich Mir in the Hindu Kush, 16,520 kilometres (10,270 mi) away. It is one of the Seven Summits.


Mount Kilimanjaro  with its three volcanic cones, “Kibo”, “Mawenzi”, and “Shira”, is a dormant volcano in Tanzania. It is the highest mountain in Africa, about 4,900 metres (16,100 ft) from its base to 5,895 metres (19,341 ft) above sea level.


Mt Elbrus is the highest mountainin Europe, and the tenth most prominent peak in the world it has two summits, both of which are dormant volcanic domes. The taller west summit is 5,642 metres (18,510 ft), the east summit is 5,621 metres (18,442 ft).

Mont Blanc

Le Mont Blanc ItalianMonte Bianco meaning “White Mountain”, is the highest mountain in the Alpsand the highest in Europe west of Russia’s Caucasus peaks.It rises 4,808.7 m (15,777 ft) above sea level and is ranked 11th in the worldin topographic prominence. The mountain stands in a range called the Graian Alps, between the regions of Aosta ValleyItaly, and Savoie and Haute-SavoieFrance


Imja Tse

Imja Tse, better known as Island Peak, is a mountain in Sagarmatha National Park of the Himalayas of eastern Nepal. The peak was named Island Peak in 1951 by Eric Shipton‘s party since it appears as an island in a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche. The peak was later renamed in 1983 to Imja Tse but Island Peak remains the popular choice. The peak is actually an extension of the ridge coming down off the south end of Lhotse Shar.

Mt Errigal

Errigal (IrishAn Earagail, possibly meaning “oratory“) is a 751-metre (2,464 ft) mountain Near Gweedore in County Donegal, Ireland. It is the tallest peak of the Derryveagh Mountains and the tallest peak in County Donegal. Errigal is also the most southern, steepest and highest of the mountain chain, called the “Seven Sisters” by locals. The Seven Sisters includes MuckishCrocknalaragaghAghla BegArdloughnabrackbaddyAghla MoreMackoght and Errigal. The nearest peak is Mackoght, which is also known as Little Errigal or Wee Errigal (Irishan Earagail Bheag). 

Everest Base-camp

South Base Camp is in Nepal at an altitude of 5,364 metres 17,598 ft (28°0′26″N 86°51′34″E), and North Base Camp is in Tibet at 5,150 metres 16,900 ft.(28°8′29″N 86°51′5″E). These camps are rudimentary campsites on Mount Everest that are used by mountain climbers during their ascent and descent.

Cognac Valley

Ice climbing Italy – The Cogne Valley in Italy is the paradise for ice climbers. Cogne is located 1 and a half hour from Chamonix by car. You have two small parallel valleys, the “Valnontey” and the “Lillaz”. The place is wild and beautiful, and sometimes you find yourself climbing side by side with the local fauna! The ice routes are located all along these two valleys, 5km deep. Thanks to the multitude of lines and routes, it’s possible to climb on your own without crossing other parties. There are approximately 100 routes easy of access in this fantastic area.

Arctic Circle

The Arctic Circle is the most northerly of the five major circles of latitude as shown on maps of Earth. It marks the northernmost point at which the noon sun is just visible on the December solstice and the southernmost point at which the midnight sun is just visible on the June solstice. The region north of this circle is known as the Arctic, and the zone just to the south is called the Northern Temperate Zone.
