Its official! Mission accomplished. Jason has summitted Mt Everest at 7am this morning. Was amazing!! He’s back at 8,200 mtrs and very tired so gonna sleep there 4 tonight anddescend again in the morning.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.

Just headin in2 Mass here now myself so will say one 4 u all now.

  53. Congratulations, Jason Black, the first person from Donegal to summit Mount Everest at 8848m, amazing accomplishment! Only being familiar with Irish mountains such as Slieve Donard in the Mournes at 850m I cannot begin to even Imagine what Mount Everest looks like at over 10 x Slieve Donards height! Well Done. Diarmaid.
